Enron is an example of unleashed free enterprise the way cancer is an
example of mitosis. That something can be abused does not condemn it.
The current space "market" is dominated by leashed - heck, kenneled
and fed filet mignon - "free enterprise" like Lockheed Martin and
Boeing. Whatever our political differences, I think we can agree that
neither this market nor this government will ever get either of us Off
The Rock. So let's support something that will.
Are there good reasons space should be settled? In the near term?
What are they? Are there any on which we can agree?
