If you haven't already, you should check out Stephen Baxter's books
"Manifold: Time" and "Manifold: Space".  While the story doesn't
strictly deal with that (the plot gets really wacky pretty fast),
there are central characters and themes that deal relatively
realistically with those very issues.  I just finished the second one,
and I'm starting to get pissed.  We should be there already.

:How'd you guys like to meet up at a cafe and toss these ideas around a little? I'd love to talk out some of the issues with y'all.
