Bimbo's is where we went to see St Etienne last year. It's a nice warm space in 
North Beach, with tables up the back (could we get a table?) and a raked 
section in front of the stage, so everyone can see. Red velvet curtains, 
polished wood, very with the atmosphere. Not unlike Yoshi's in Oakland. Decent 
acoustics. Parking is a bitch.

I hadn't been out to a club in years, and I spent the first half-hour growling 
at the bright young things who trod on my foot, and Failing to See the Point.

Rachel: I hate crowds. Why didn't we just stay HOME and listen to the ALBUM? 

Jeremy (patiently): It'll be fun.

Then the band started.

Rachel (dancing): Wow! This is AWESOME! Why don't we go out more?

Jeremy (patiently): I can't imagine.
