I am up for a fear-and-loathing trip, but can only do weekends.
Plus, having been in Vegas on weekdays, I can tell you that it is pretty =
dead until Thur. Many of the clubs aren't even open.
Weird, I know, it's Vegas after all, but in some ways it behaves like a =
small town.
So....
I'd _love_ to do a weekend and find a way to make it cheap. I've seen =
fares as low as $60rt and there are no-name hotels on the strip like =
Barbary Coast and Bally's that might have decent weekend rates as well.
Thoughts?

Kathryn's idea about Vegas is great. No one was able to go on short =
notice but how about a trip in late May? I have found very reasonable =
prices at good hotels. The catch is, we would go sunday/monday and stay =
for two nights. The prices are totals for the two nights and they =
INCLUDE airfare from SFO. They assume two per room.
Sunday to Tuesday:
Aladin: $231 (Brand new hotel and should have nice rooms.)
planes depart in the early afternoon each day.
Monday to Wednesday:
New York, New York: $157
Plan leaves SFO before 7am, leaves Vegas at a more reasonable hour.
My vote is for the Sunday to Tuesday deal at Aladin. Who is committed? =
We can purchase tix quickly.
