I've been emailing Nariman about the Lake Isabella weekend, Friday =
the 18th to Sunday the 21st. She would like to rent some boats for =
cruising, and also wants to know who is interested in river rafting. I =
don't know the cost yet but I'd like to let her know if people are =
interested. Also, she's given me some more info to pass on:
"[The cabin is...] a half mile walk down to the lake. Lots of the =
men will be mountain
biking that weekend. The terrain is very desert-like. It will be =
very
hot. There is some shade near the house and the back end of the =
property
is near the trees. There are some flat and sloped areas...so you =
can
have your pick [for camping and music.] They've decided to set up =
the system in the house and
crank the speakers out the window...there is some flat area where we
can boogey nearby. If you or anyone you're with is interested in =
white
water rafting or renting aboat, let me know...I'm going to make us =
some
reservations accordingly. The drive is about 4.5 hours from here."
Colin, I'me going to contact the other music folks to see if we can =
co-ordinate our efforts. Everyone else, who is willing to leave Friday =
morning in a Caravan?
