ok, so the weather's shit and i, for one, have the energy of a 5 watt =
light bulb.
however, i desperately need some swingin tunes to get my mood up, so =
spencer, rachel and i, as well as hopefully nancy and colin (you shoulda =
seen nancy last week during her birthday dance- aside from fighting off =
the lads she had TWO girls dancing with her), are going down to broadway =
studios for some live jazz, dancing lessons, people watching, and of =
course the requisite cocktail or two. anyone else?

i'll probably go at 8, unless anyone is interested in the beginner =
lesson.
and last, but definitely not least,
the loverly and ubertalented mr. spencer day has arrived back from the =
land of pasta, brunettes, and peoplewhogesturewildlywhilespeaking, and =
will be resuming his weekly stint at the lush lounge (polk and post =
streets), on THURSDAYS from now on. he'll be performing old and new =
favorites, originals and classics, and pretty much anything you can =
throw his way.
i'll be the one with the cosmopolitan in one hand, and the trumpet in =
the other. (did anyone ever notice the naked angel hovering over the =
balcony? she's painted gold, has a trumpet *and* a martini glass. =
aside from the pasties, i think we're dead ringers.)
that's about 9pm onward, folks.
*yawn* someone bring back the sun for me, will you?
