I've been to every SF Mime Troupe show since I moved to the city. For my money 
they've never topped 1998's "City for Sale", but even at their shrillest, 
they're inventive, energetic and fun. Sunny Dolores Park, picnic foodstuffs 
from Bi-Rite, dogs gaily romping, silly show tunes - what more could you 
possibly want?

Gershwin, Bernstein, and how have I lived here this long without ever seeing 
Stern Grove anyway? I can't vouch for the weather on that side of Twin Peaks - 
the entire Sunset District appears on old maps marked "Uninhabitable by reason 
of fog", no joke - but did I mention Gershwin and Bernstein? You Americans and 
your inexplicable weather patterns and your lovely, lovely music.
