all right, who here played the recorder in elementary school? i know i
did, or attempted to, anyway. remember the squawking? the squeaking?
the headaches? the awful smell that was a combination of disinfectant
and instrument oil?
i promise you, this will be nothing like that.

the recorder, played well, is unbefeckinglievable. even if you're not
really keen on classical music, you might find early music to be more
fun, as much of it originated from peasant's drinking songs. :-) we
can find a park and drink wine afterwards, using words like "thy" and
"thou".
i know this is a bit of a weird one, but it might make a fun summer
weekend afternoon.
