Hello everyone, as always, let me know if you'd like to
stop receiving these messages about events at 964 Natoma...

-------

This message is to inform you of two most-recommended events
coming up at 964 Natoma (San Francisco) in the very near
future!

These two events are being hosted by another of the residents
here at 964, the very talented and charming Zoe Keating, who
you may have seen playing looped cello (!) or with one of her
bands, most recently Rasputina. As with the events I've been
hosting myself, expect comfortable listening and lilting,
lovely cello grooves...

(1) Saturday, April 12 :: 8:30 pm

Zoe Keating (solo looped cello), and then her No Name Trio
with violinist Tony Cross (who you may remember from a recent
Field Effects!) and percussionist Mark Bernfeld.

I understand the trio will be improvising hypnotic grooves
based on the interweaving lines of Zoe's cello and Tony's
violin... based on the bit of rehearsal I heard effervescing
through the house this weekend, it should be amazing.

(2) Friday, April 18 :: 8:30 pm

Zoe will be playing with with Charles Atlas and I believe
Park Avenue Music and Mark Dwinell of Bright.

I saw Zoe & CA at the Du Nord recently and it was just lovely ~
haunting, slowly unfolding, lyrical lines on cello, melodica,
trumpet,guitar... mmmmmm. If you like Piano Magic, Tarantel,
Aerial M... don't miss this.

I think this will apply:

Seating mostly on futons to encourage comfort. Thanks
to Blasthaus for long lovely loan of beanbags!

964 Natoma is in San Francisco, on a one-way alley between
Mission and Howard, 10th and 11th street, south of market.
Look for the star on the roll-up door!
