Hi everyone,

Aaron from 964 Natoma and Field Effects here. I wanted to let
you know that I'm celebrating my birthday this Wednesday by
debuting a new installation piece at the Rx Gallery as part of
'Supersonic,' a show of sound-oriented work (details below).

My sculpture, Serendipity Machine 11.19.03 (haunted), is the
latest in a series of work that generates an ever-changing,
never-ending soundscape... It'll be in good company, as you can
read in the press release below!

Early warning ~ it's looking like Field Effects 17 will be Friday,
December 5; details to follow. If you didn't make the most recent
show, you might be happy to hear that we now are home to a new
flock of our own beanbags. Your comfort is our concern...

In the nearer term, you might want to catch Francisco Lopez and
Daniel Menche at the Recombinant Laboratories Compound at 9pm on

SUPERSONIC
Opening night

Get ready for the next exhibition "Supersonic: New Directions in Sound
and Form" at Rx featuring recent sound-oriented works by several Bay
Area luminaries including Matt Heckert, Larnie Fox, Aaron Ximm, Joe
Colley, Kurt Bigenho and others. Most of this work has never been shown
before, so this will indeed be a very *special* occasion.

6-10pm
