Got away late from Sydney. Lasted on the road until 6 o'clock at which time we found ourselves in Gunning, between Goulburn and Gundagai.

Gunning is a town of a thousand souls and very few outstanding features.

The "show people" had all but monopolised the caravan park so we got a site down by the tennis club. Since we were not going to use any of the "facilities" (except electricity), it only cost us $5.

We watched a young lady schooling a polo pony as we made tea while the sun set.
