We travelled south from Port Macquarie through Laurieton and Dungog to the North Brother Lookout. this is a magic place up a very steep road banned to caravans which has beautifully designed viewing areas looking both north and south. The views and superb.

To the north one looks out over Queens Lake and on to Port Macquarie.

To the south the view is of Watson Taylor Lake, Middle and South Brother, and on the Crowdy Head.

We drove on south to Harrington and Crowdy Head where we saw a Little Eagle? hunting in the grass verge just metres in front of us. We also saw Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo.

We stopped overnight at Croki.
