We shopped in Parkes, had lunch at the town lookout, and drove to Forbes to attend the CMCA 14th National Rally.
We drove around looking for the rest of the mob. On the way we saw many motorhomes in the showground which was surprising considering there is supposed to be an absolute prohibition on early booking in and the rally is supposed to start tomorrow.
Back in town we got a CB call from Philip and Helene. We met up with them in town, checked for mail at the Post Office and headed back across the river. Another CB call located the rest of the convoy and we all settled in at the riverside park to await the official opening of the rally tomorrow.
Happy hour with all our friends was nice.
