We went into Wodonga to shop. Wodonga is not a town one would move heaven and earth to get back to. It's just another country town struggling to survive.
We had coffee and headed south, not to Mount Beauty as planned, but rather to Beechworth as the weather was not good and we thought the mountains would be a less than good place to be.
As it happened we drove into heavy rain and by the time we reached Beechworth we simply wanted to stop, plug in and veg out.
