We had arranged to spend a few days with the Procters so we drove straight up to Carters Ridge. Helene spend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at TAFE so we cooked dinner as a surprise for her. They had planned to spend the weekend at Toowoomba visiting the grandchildren but insisted on postponing that trip until later so that they could spend the weekend with us.

On Saturday we all went to the Yandina market. All the best stuff sells early so we were up at sparrowfart and had finished our shopping by nine o'clock! In the afternoon I foolishly offered to help collect cowpats from the bottom paddock. I only just made it to the end.

On Sunday we had a barbecue with the next door neighbours, drinking, chatting and playing disc bowls.

As always, we were made extremely welcome and had a thoroughly good time.
