We all went to the Mitchelton Heritage Festival. The highlight was a trip to Ferny Grove and back in a steam train. The kids were, I think, puzzled by the enthusiasm of their parents and grandparents.

We all had a ball watching Scrappy the Clown do his stuff.

We had to spend at least one night away from the caravan park to get our discount back (the new owner thinks that it is shonky to extend the discount beyond the advertised $20 maximum for any one stay).

We drove the Motley and the Little Motley in convoy to Petrie and camped at Wyllie Park. Its a bit noisy with a main road on one side and the railway line on the other but it's pleasant and it's free!.

For dinner, I concocted a new dish which would have to be called Thai Tandoori Chicken and Stir-fried Vegetables which was really yummy.

The weather is warming up now and we had a comfortable night without any power.
