We wanted to get to Brisbane as soon as possible so we headed on up the New England Highway.
We had lunch at the Bluff Rock Rest Area just south of Tenterfield. We met a couple in a 20 something year old Mercedes motorhome which they have been travelling in for the last four years. The were at the Roma rally but missed the one in Alice Springs by a fortnight and they are presently heading for Canberra missing the recent rally by three weeks. What timing!.
After 300 strenuous kilometres (200 miles), we stopped overnight in Warwick.
