We set out as early as we were able, albeit some time after ten, to go to Ashby to visit the Kerrs.
We decided to go down the Mt Lindesay Highway through Kyogle. We got to Casino at afternoon tea time and decided to stay overnight in the showground. No-one could tell us how much it would cost but, what the heck, we had to stop somewhere. We are now too big for some caravan parks and we don't need all the facilities they offer anyway. The showground is nice and quiet and we had a good night's sleep.
