We had to start travelling west so we left the others at Isisford and drove to Longreach. We did the laundry, had lunch, did the shopping, dumped the black water, filled up with fresh water, diesel and ULP (for the genny).
We drove out to the Longreach Waterhole rest area on the banks of the Thomson River and shared happy hour with a couple of ex-Kiwis who have recently started out on a trip around Australia in a little campervan.
