We headed down the big hill to Spencers Gulf. This an extraordinary hill. The first part is a typical winding steep hill but then it turns into a long straight gentle hill which goes on for a very long way. We went on to Port Augusta to do a little shopping.

The weather is terribly hot again so we decided to take refuge in a caravan park where we can run the airconditioner continuously. It doesn't bring the temperature down to perfectly comfortable but it's sure better than the outside temperature. The fridge is also having a hard time but the freezer is still frozen so we'll survive.
