We left Port Lincoln to make tracks for Adelaide for Jean's appointment next Tuesday. We stopped on Thursday night at Port Gibbon.

On Friday we called in to Cowell to shop and then made good time to Whyalla where we stopped for lunch. We checked out a listed free camp site just north of the town on the Point Bonython Rd. This is a large, isolated industrial estate with no tenants but all the roads in place. It is very big and nice and quiet but Jean thought that, being Friday, the local hoons might get out there after the pub so we pressed on to the Halfway Rest Area between Whyalla and Port Augusta.

On Saturday, we visited Port Augusta to restock with fruit and veges and drove on to Fishermans Bay near Port Broughton where we had had a pleasant stay on the way to Whyalla.

On Sunday, we made the last little bit to Adelaide and booked in to the caravan park in West Beach.
