We parked the Motley in town while we visited the local sites in the Little Motley in the local forests. We had to correct the information about some sites and some we couldn't find but we enjoyed our visit to the Murray and our drive through the forest.

We stopped to talk to a guy doing some work in preparation for the Fishing Classic which is to be held this weekend. As we chatted to him he said he knew the Motley because he had followed us in to town in the morning and recognised us. We don't seem to be able to be anonymous anywhere these days.

I had an email recently from a reader of this web site who had passed us on the road recently, recognised us and exchanged waves with us!.

After our little adventure in the forest we headed north towards Deniliquin where we were able to pin down some more sites and then to Hay where we camped up by the Murrumbidgee River. In the camp we were joined by some caravanners from Brisbane who have been on the road for two and a half years and who are going back to Brisbane to sell their house and become grey nomads.
