[Earlier Visits]

I felt OK so we pressed on. We stopped at a caravan park in Tailem Bend which has an agreement with the CMCA to allow non-residents the use of the dump point. The charge is a nominal $5 which I think is outrageous but apparently this was agreed with whoever it was who negotiated the agreement. In the event, I only had $4 in change so he accepted that. The dump point was pretty primitive and might no be accessible to really big rigs. We, however, did clear the tank for a fairly extended journey to St Arnaud.

In Tailem Bend, we stopped to do a spot of shopping and were bailed up by a motorhoming couple who had missed the rally in and were on their way to Mt Gambier and the Great Ocean Road.

I had had enough by lunchtime so we stopped at the rest area we had used on the way up.
