We left Sale driving east and came upon a town called "Stratford on the River Avon" presumeably to ensure that we didn't confuse it with another Stratford on another Avon.
Jean decided that we should visit Metung. This is a little way off the main road and on the lake shore. We lunched in the car park at the end of the point, looking out from our cosy dining room at the birds, and the water and the freezing fisherfolk and decided that The Motley is a pretty good choice for travelling in.
Metung is like Palm Beach so we didn't put it on the list of places to retire to.
