Having disposed of most of the fruit, we headed for New South Wales.

I found that one of the trailer tyres, the same one I had mended in Stawell, was deflating so I changed to the spare.

We stopped in Rochester to shop. Before I bought any fruit I asked if we were inside the fruit fly zone. They had no idea what I was talking about so I boiught the fruit anyway.

I had the local tyre shop fix the tyre. Apparently the valve was leaking where it fits into the rim.

We pressed on and reached Mathoura by knocking off time. The lady in the Tourist Info Centre said there were lots of nice places to camp along the Picnic Point Road which is bitumen for the first 8 km so we stopped overnight right on the banks of the Gulpa Creek and listened to the fish jumping as we had afternoon tea.
