So in Love - The Songs of Cole Porter Brings Down the House on Opening Night
Playing to a sold-out opening night crowd, Meg Mackay and Billy Philadelphia bought down the house on Saturday night with a reprise of last summer's smash cabaret show.
Cole Porter, born in 1891, is considered by many to be America's greatest songwriter. Before his death in 1964, he wrote more than 900 songs. Meg and Billy perform 23 of Porter's compositions during their 90-minute show - some old favorites and some lesser-known treasures. Meg and Billy's warm, casual personalities create an intimate environment for the audience, transforming the small venue into something more akin to a living room than a theatre.
Tickets are going fast for this limited engagement! Performances are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 3 pm, though February 6.

There is Still Time to Enroll in Our Brand-Spanking New Theatre Classes For Adults!
Have you always wondered if you had what it takes to be an actor? Do you think you sound pretty good singing show tunes in the shower? Have you always regretted not taking that college drama class?
Well, now's your chance to prove to yourself (and maybe to the world!) just how talented you are.
Two eight-week adult classes begin on February 1st: Act Out! (Acting Basics) and Sing Out! (Musical Theatre Basics). Both classes will be taught in a casual, supportive environment -- perfect for the beginning student, or for those who just want to have a bit of fun.
Act Out! will be taught by Gwen Loeb, a veteran acting instructor at many colleges and theatres throughout the country. Sing Out! will be lead by Richard 'Scrumbly' Koldewyn, a musical director, performer, and long-time NCTC Conservatory teacher. Both classes will meet every Tuesday, from 6:30-8 pm. To enroll in either class or for more information, click on the link below, or email Andrew Nance, Conservatory Director at andrew at nctcsf.org ( mailto:andrew at nctcsf.org ) .
