Heading for Noosa, we decided to visit Bribie Island.

Its very sandy.

We checked out the local caravan parks without being impressed. The view over Pumicestone Passage is very pleasant. While driving to see Sylvan Beach we found ourselves trapped on a lane going only to the bridge so we concluded that Bribie Island didn't want us to stay.

The caravan park at Sandstone Point is just opposite the Island and set next to the marina. As it is quite pleasant, we chose to stay here for the night.
