With some relief, we left the big smoke to get back on the road. Sydney has some facilities which we need but the attractions evaporate fairly quickly for us now we are grey nomads.
We called in at Australian Campervans and Motorhomes in Newcastle to see what spares and accessories they had. I bought a fan for inside the fridge on the basis that it could do no harm and just might do some good. We'll see!.
We got as far as Singleton before stopping for the night.
I talked to a CMCA person from Perth who had seen the Motley at the rally in Berri. They were headed for the country music festival at Tamworth and had decided to pamper themselves with a night in an on-site cabin. Sadly they found that the cabin was not as comfortable as there motorhome! there's a lesson in that for us all.
