We didn't want to go to the country music festival at Ingham with the rest of the safari so we headed of on our own and stayed in a caravan park on the beach.

This is the first caravan park we have visited where the discount is paid in free beers.

While the facilities were not of the highest standard, the beautiful beach just a few steps away from the site more than made up for this.

We were impressed to have a Sunbird visiting a hibiscus just outside the Motley's window. There were many other birds to see and identify and a flock of Blue-winged Kookaburras created a noisy dawn and dusk.

We took the opportunity to do the laundry and take a lay day.
