With the Procters, we joined the Suncoasters Chapter Rally in Pomona.
We ran into some people we had met before, we met many new people, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
The highlight was a Saturday afternoon at the pictures. The Majestic is the oldest continuously running cinema in the world. We had afternoon tea and we "aahed", booed, hissed and laughed a lot through the first ever cartoon, Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton.
Early on Sunday morning some hardy souls climbed Mount Cooroora. This is the site of a famous annual King of the Mountain run, 400 metres (1300 ft) up, near vertical in places, and back in under six minutes! You can just see the white path in the picture.
