The weather has broken and the sun is shining. We're off.

But first, there is more email to attend to so back to Pure Logic for another favour.

Philip, The Supreme Commander of the Highway Wanderers, had sent me Optus's instructions for uploading the website. Nothing simpler once I had stopped trying to make it complicated. So http://www.optusnet.com.au/~hiway is up and running.

I also mended the various broken things on the Motley website which kind people had reported.

Off towards the coast, we looked in at Macquarie Woods, a picnic ground recommended by Philip and Helene. It exceeded any expectations we might have had. It is a beautiful place with well cared for gravel roads, acres of mown grass, lots of native trees and many small lakes with lots and lots of birds and it has enough space to house a full rally of motorhomes.

Fearing a cold night, we went on to Bathurst and booked into the only caravan park in town, always something of a lottery, to find that it is not only very pleasant but it is also equipped with dump points at every site!

As I sit writing, this the sun is dropping in the west and a gentle breeze is stirring the leaves of the gum tree outside the window. We have full batteries and fresh water tank, empty grey and black water tanks, a full pantry and plenty of gin and tonic so we should have a good evening.
