Back to Brisbane to help Sarah while little Ross is in hospital.

He went in on Monday morning and had his operation just before mid-day. All went well and he is expected to make a full recovery.

He came home on Thursday evening and was bright as a button on Friday. Sarah was a bit frazzled as she had also spent three days straight in the hospital with only broken sleep.

He is coming good remarkably fast. By Sunday most people wouldn't notice that he had been through surgery less than a week ago. His appetite is good and his wound is healing well.

We finally upgraded the mobile Phone to CDMA. The new number is 0427 071 877. It seems to work well.

Rachel had said she wanted a wedding cake like the family Christmas cakes so I reworked the recipe to an appropriate size, had Ross get the ingredients from Samios, and spent three days testing the stove and then baking the cakes.

Sarah had another list of repairs which were mostly completed. The garden tap now has a removable handle so the children will have less chance to make mud pies everywhere.

Ross's recovery seems complete and we had promised to spend some time with the Procters so we headed off for Carters Ridge.
