We drove round Canberra to look at the autumn trees. Many had lost their leaves but what remained looked a bit incongruous in the setting of Australian natives.

We lunched in the sunshine at the Grevillia Park on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin in company with many swans, ducks and gulls.

On the Queanbeyan to find a caravan park. We found a Target where we bought a new fan-heater with a bit more grunt to cope with the cold nights.

The caravan park we selected is on by the river, very green and with plenty of birds.
