Sunday 6th

Sadly there was much noisy activity early in the morning leading up to an early morning choir practice for the happy clappy church. Then again, it was free.

We went up the hill to Patricks Road for breakfast and had a veg day to recover from all the activity of the past few days.

Ian went to work and Sarah and Kelly went to a birthday party so we baby sat for Ross. He was upset at being left behind so he went to bed and slept right through until his Mummy came home.

We had booked in to the caravan park at Aspley so we retired there at sundown.

Monday 7th

The Motley was in for service so we took a courtesy car. I had been trying to get a full remote control and monitoring unit for the Heart Interface Inverter/Charger. I discovered that the supplier was located in Scarborough 30 km (20 miles) north of Brisbane so we visited there and had lunch in the foreshore park. Back to Aspley for a visit to the chiropractor to look at Jean's ankle, back and shoulder which have been giving her some trouble. He diagnosed a burst tendon sheath and said he could fix it. That's good.

Tuesday 8th

Shopping and attending to banking and so on in the morning. I had done laundry first thing and in the afternoon it rained so we hurried back to Aspley to rescue the clothes.

Wednesday 9th

We had a minor problem with the grey water plumbing backing up. I spent half an hour stripping and cleaning it.

As we left the caravan park, the fan belt squealed so we called in to the Mazda service depot across the road to have it adjusted.

We visited Patricks Road to finish the unpacking the boxes from Bluegum Crescent and then went to the Watergarden for a celebratory lunch.

Thursday 10th

We had planned to go to Beaudesert after an early visit to the chiropractor. Overnight I realised that there were a couple of jobs at Patricks Road I had not done which I could not leave to Sarah so we spent the day there fixing the filing cabinet and installing the telephone extension in the study. By the time all was complete I was in no state to drive to Beaudesert and it was getting late so we returned to the caravan park at Aspley.
