As we have plenty of time to get to Sydney, we decided to drop in on the Kerrs at Ashby. They always make us so welcome and it's so beautiful and peaceful here.

They have one of the grandchildren staying at the moment so we went to the beach in the afternoon so that everyone(else) could have a refreshing swim.

I tried to fly the Amazing Parachuting Bear but there was too much wind. I managed to scare the daylights out of two young women lying on the sand by crashing at fifty miles an hour within a couple of feet of them. I really must brush up my kiteflying skills before I do something silly.

We dined sumptuously, drank wine, and chatted until late.

Life's really hard when your a grey nomad.
