I had planned to go to Bennetts Green to get the ladder mended but they couldn't start the job for ten days so I decided to wait till we get to Queensland.
We elected to set off up the New England Highway for a change of scene.
On the way we visited the McGuigans Winery. We didn't like most of what they had on offer but we did buy a couple of bottles.
We finally stopped at Scone and settled in to watch the second half of the cricket.
