After a leisurely breakfast we went into town to do some shopping, we set off for Parkes.
Neither of us can remember where we had morning tea or lunch! We're obviously travelling too fast. 150 km (100 miles) per day doesn't seem a lot but we generally average jut over 50 so, for us we are rushing about.
We stopped for the night at a rest area called Billabong Creek. Jean was a bit hesitant because it had a NO CAMPING sign and it was only 10 km (6 miles) from town. As we would have had to go on a long way or stay in a caravan park in Forbes, I decided to stop anyway. Late in the afternoon a caravanner who obviously stopped here before pulled in so I guess it will be all right.
