Sunday 24th

Jean had planned to do some stuff with Sarah so we headed back to Brisbane.

We chose to stop for a couple of days at Wyllie Park in Petrie as it is free. We arrived in time for lunch and veged the afternoon away watching golf on TV.

I worked late into the night on the update of the chapter database.

Monday 25th

We went early to Patricks Rd in order to get lots of work done.

Sarah had decided that she wanted to get rid of all the carpets in the upstairs bedrooms. This gave rise to a plan for completely emptying each room in turn starting with the computer room. This required a new, albeit temporary, modem connection point which took a fair time to realise. Finally the computer system was relocated into the dining room and the first step in this long journey was done.

We retired to the Motley for dinner. I cooked kedgeree which had been a great success the first time. This time I made it from memory and it wasn't quite so good and we were both overfaced.
