Monday 29th Apr
We had an early call from Patricks Road that the electricity supply to the house had failed for up to ten minutes at a time on several occasions over the past four days. We set off early to transit to Brisbane, set up at the caravan park at Aspley, and drive to the house to find out what was going on.

I could find no fault and I could conjure up no explanation for the failures so I advised Sarah to get in an electrician.

Because of my lack of fitness, we returned to the caravan park before sundown where we had happy hour with Don and Maureen, friends we met on the road in our early days of motorhoming.

Tuesday 30th Apr

The electrician came and could find no fault so he recommended a call to the electricity supply company. They found a faulty company fuse on the power pole outside the house which they repaired temporarily.

Wednesday 1st May

The electricity supply company came out again and replaced the company fuse. Hopefully there will be no more problems.

Being our last before the long trip around Australia, we had dinner at Patricks Rd to say our farewells to the family.
