We drove into the Margater River area. The only caravan park which lists long sites was at a place called Prevelly Beach. This is in a narrow valley full of trees which was OK but the fees were $12 per person so we only booked in for 1 night.

We unshipped the Litle Motley and went to town. Well, there was no parking space in Margaret River so we went on to Cowaramup. The Regional Wine Centre is there so we went in for some advice about which wineries to visit.

We decided to visit The Grove Winery, which includes a restaurant, for lunch. The food was pretty good and the wine was better than most. Jean had Wooded Chardonay and I had Shed Red, an 80% Merlot 9% Shiraz 11% Cabernet blend. Both were really nice and I bought a bottle of Shed Red. Jean bought a bottle of Shiraz Port which is most unusual and realy very nice. She plans to take it to San Francisco to wet the babies head.
