I needed to finish the work on the Chapter newsletter and to get the new airconditioner installed, so we relocated to Sherwood Forest.

The airconditioner went in like a bought one. I had help from Robin and his crane which made it pretty easy but everything went together like is was meant to and by lunchtime we were able to fire up the generator and cool down the Motley. After nearly three months of swealtering in the heat, the relief was wonderful.

The newsletter eventually got finished. Keryn printed it at the shop and I did the labelling, envelope stuffing and mailing.

The Gallands were in residence at Sherwood Forest so, between the six of us, we had much lively conversation every day at smoko and at happy hour.

It rained a lot and we collected much rainwater for the fresh water tank using the electric bucket (a bilge pump and float switch driven by 12V and installed in a bucket hanging under the end of the awning). We delayed our departure until the rain stopped and the ground firmed up.
