We had accepted an invitation to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Keryn's birthday with the McGuires in Currumbin at the weekend so we headed back to Sherwood Forest.
On the way we dropped into Camec to pick up a new cover for the toilet seat.
On the way down the Riverside Expressway, my CB antenna was wrenched from its mounting by something overhanging the off-side kerb. I patched the hole and remounted the antenna while we were parked at Camec.
We arrived at the Forest in time for lunch and had a very pleasant happy hour with the Woods and the Gallands.
On Friday I found and fixed the fault in the new air horns and fitted the new water valve on the toilet. This last job should have been easy but I had to redo everything two or three times and it took much longer than I would have liked.
Robin and Keryn went to the Gold Coast on Friday with a visit to the Casino on the agenda. We will go over on Saturday and park up in a nearby caravan park.
