We decided that we really had to leave for South Australia. Not everything that should have been done has been done but we need to be off.

We called in at UWHO on the way out of Brisbane and headed for the Cunningham Highway As we passed Warwick, we drove into a storm system so and we headed for Lake Leslie, a favourite camping spot round here, The storm turned to hail as we drove into the dam area but by time we had set up and had afternoon tea the sun had come out and we were blessed with a perfect sunset with the kangaroos grazing all around.

It's great to be on the road again with all the tension of city living falling away and the beauty of nature seeping back into the psyche
