We needed to dump the black water before we went into the rally in Toowoomba. The town had said a few of us could dump at the sewage works but only before 9 o'clock. Since we don't like doing anything that early, we decided to avoid the first day crush at the rally and go to Cecil Plains where there is a public dump point and a free campground.

On the way we checked out some more rest areas including a wonderful place on the banks of Oakey Creek just out of Bowenville.

We drove to Cecil Plains on some back roads, found the dump point and then settled in for a quiet night at the Recreation Ground.
