My BGL readings started to improve so I guess the doctor was right.

The week was filled with many odd jobs and lots of painting.

On Saturday, I finally finished painting the walls of the bedroom, the dining room, the sitting room and the hall. The colour we originally chose was a bit grey so we chose a warmer colour and I had to give the bedroom another coat. The effort was long and strenuous and my body complained a bit about all the ladder climbing. The results, however, were worth it because the place looks much better now.

The carpet has been promised for next Monday and the bedroom suite or Tuesday. We will the be in a position to stay in the house using the Motley only for the kitchen and bathroom. Jean is a bit disappointed that the renovation of the kitchen and bathroom in the house is taking so long but it will eventually get done and all will be well.
