Sunday 1st

Another cloudy day didn't encourage much activity. We celebrated the new year with an indulgence breakfast.

Sarah had planned on a picnic but they were low on energy so that plan was put on one side.

The weather improved in the afternoon but we were also lacking in energy so Jean slept and I watched the tennis on TV.

Monday 2nd

We went to Mt Glorius to have lunch with the Marretts and the Davidsons. We went back to Patricks Rd and chatted with Sarah until it was time to return to the Motley.

Tuesday 3rd

We were up at sparrowfart to get the Motley to Aspley for its big 120,000 km service by nine o'clock.

After dropping the truck off, we went to Kedron to get a hub cap for the Terios to replace the one which had disappeared. We went on to Patricks Rd to do some sewing for Sarah and Alain.

We had lunch at Brookside before going to Mitchelton for Jean's appointment with the Podiatrist.

I touched base with the lady at Hearing Life because we had to fill out new forms for the renewal of our vouchers for free hearing tests.

On the way back to Aspley we came across a new Indian curry shop and bought some stuff for dinner. It was pretty good (apart from the dhal which was too watery and the rose lahsi which didn't seem to have any yoghurt in it). There was enough left over to last a couple more nights.
