[Earlier Visits]

Pip and Mell called in to see us on their way to town. We apologised for not staying with them but they understood and we promised to visit next time we are down here.

Needing to make some progress towards Barraba and feeling a lot better, we headed for Bendigo, intending to visit the Bendigo Bank. I had forgotten that it was Saturday and found the bank branch closed. We had coffee and bought the weekend paper and some other stuff before driving north to Aysons Reserve where we stopped on the way down to Mt Gambier.

We will be entering the Fruit Fly Exclusion Zone tomorrow so I cooked all the apples and made a sauce with all the tomatoes and capsicums. The sauce went down well on some pasta and the apple made a fine apple crumble.
