We filled the fresh water tanks and dumped the grey water which had been accumulating and filled the tank. The dumping took some time because the dump point was badly designed like the one in Emerald and I had to use a bucket to drain the tank. We drove to the General Store to fill the generator fuel tank, to get a gas bottle refilled and to do a little shopping.

The Procters went to the caravan park to do the laundry and then went to Rubyvale to check it out. They came back saying that there was nothing there worth visiting so we didn't miss out on anything significant by hanging about in Sapphire.

We drove in convoy to Bogantungan where we had morning tea and to Jericho Showground where we set up for an overnight camp.

The afternoon was spent catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. In the evening we went to the pub for a drink and a barbecue dinner and met up with several other Highway Wanderers.
