Back to last visit

We were woken up early by the sun which rises an hour early here in Queensland.

Because we had paid a ridiculous amount to stay here, we both took the opportunity for a long hot shower in the ablutions block and then took a long rest in the airconditioned comfort of the Motley until after a late morning tea.

We headed off towards Toowoomba and stopped at Nobby in time for lunch planning to have dinner in Rudd's Pub as we usually do when we stop here.

The journey today was particularly easy both because it was short and because the roads were pretty good.

We went to the pub for dinner and shared a table with a motorhomer from Gympie who was on a brief trip to this part of the world. We chatted a lot while we enjoyed a beer and an excellent dinner.
