Transit from Coffs Harbour to Ballina.

Just out of Coffs Harbour I saw, feeding in a field by the road, a flock of Australian White Ibis and two Brolga.

During a rest break at a place called New Italy, I saw Blue-faced Honeyeater and Pied Butcherbird. The list grows.

We decided to stop before Ballina as we were a shade jaded. The caravan park is in the shadow, both visually and aurally, of the sugar mill which has a tall stack blowing live steam with a dull jet engine kind of noise day and night.
